Data Profiling
A Customer Profile report is often the first stage in understanding more about your customer database and why the distribution looks like it does; the emphasis for distribution of your customers can be prioritised by many factors including; geography, sales territory, by industry sector, by company size (number of employees or turnover), premises type and many other contributing factors or a combinational of all.
Our Customer Profile Reports provide you with an insightful ‘helicopter view’ of your customers, they demonstrate where your sales strengths and weaknesses are, what your market penetration is, what headroom there is in market sectors for you to grow into, they will highlight low performance sales territories, identify areas of opportunity, all the way through to calculating high value segments to clusters of non performing customers.
We offer three levels of profile:
Standard Profile
- UK wide geographic spread of your customers versus the UK Business population with maps
- Your customer market spread (by SIC code) versus the UK distribution spread
- Your customer distribution by company size versus the UK distribution by company size
- A ranked table including Z scores of each contributing factor with running commentary and recommendations
Territory Distribution Profiles
- Geographic territory (6 territories) spread of your customers versus the UK Business population for each territory with maps
- Your customer market spread (by SIC code) versus the UK distribution spread for each territory
- Your customer distribution by company size versus the UK distribution by company size for each territory
- A ranked table including Z scores of each contributing factor and for each territory with running commentary and recommendations
Prioritisation profiles
Our Prioritisation profiles are very detailed reports, they take into consideration all information and data available but most importantly sales revenue, product margins and marketing response data. Prioritisation Profiles usually involve two days planning with one of our CRM consultants to define the scope of the project and to understand what data is available and how it can be used to generate the differing levels of reporting and prioritisation.
